Mark Coronna

Managing Director, Wolters Kluwer Financial Services-Europe

Mark Coronna is the managing director for Wolters Kluwer Financial Services—Europe, where he has full accountability for the company's European operations. He reports directly to the chief executive officer of Wolters Kluwer Financial & Compliance Services.

Coronna has more than 25 years of experience in the financial services and technology industries. He most recently served as executive vice president of the company's Securities & Insurance unit, where he was responsible for the company's securities and insurance industry portfolio. He joined Wolters Kluwer Financial Services in 2005 as vice president of marketing where he provided strategic and operational leadership for all marketing-related functions of the business. Prior to joining Wolters Kluwer Financial Services, Coronna was chief operating officer for a leading Internet-based expense management technology company, where he directed all of the company's product management, development, IT and service delivery operations, and customer service functions.

Coronna was also senior vice president, chief information officer and general manager in the Payments division of U.S. Bank, where he managed the product, marketing, e-commerce, and service delivery functions for the global leader in Visa®-branded corporate and purchasing cards. In that role, he developed and brought to market the world's first Internet business for corporate e-payments, which is operated today as a joint US Bank/Visa venture named Syncada. He has previously led marketing, sales, product, and business development functions and has been a chief operating officer and a chief information officer.

He is a patent author on a variety of online business processes designed to improve business-to-business collaboration and is a frequent commentator on compliance and technology in financial services trade publications.
