London Metal Exchange Rulebook Available on Wolters Kluwer Financial Services’ Compliance Resource Network

LONDON – 12 July 2010 – Wolters Kluwer Financial Services announced today that the London Metal Exchange (LME) rulebook is now available on its Compliance Resource Network, which consolidates financial services laws, regulations and commentary from across the globe on a single research platform.

Established more than 130 years ago and located in The City of London, the LME is the world’s premier non-ferrous metals market. Adding its rulebook to the Compliance Resource Network will allow financial organisations to access the most current information available for the LME while tracking regulatory developments as they occur. Having access to this information on one platform helps financial firms reduce research time and costs—a major benefit to compliance officers as they navigate a challenging regulatory environment.

The Compliance Resource Network was launched to the UK financial services market earlier this year, and offers a comprehensive library of UK regulatory and legislative materials, as well as information for other jurisdictions, including the EU, US, Canada, Australia and Asia.

Mark Coronna, managing director, WKFS Europe says: “The Compliance Resource Network helps financial organisations monitor regulatory change and put it in context so they can determine potential impacts on their business. The LME rulebook offers even more critical regulatory material to better serve the UK market—particularly firms that have a strong focus on commodities.”
